Welding
Our in-house skill sets and commonly utilised welding processes from MIG / MAG, FCAW to TIG we can complete production welds to an array of WPS’s qualified in accordance with ISO 15614 for BUTT and FILLET welded joints. All our welders are qualified to ISO 9606-1
Structural
Our Structural Steel projects are completed using Carbon Steel Grades S275 – S355 J0 JR and J2 depending on project specification and engineers calcs, with traceability of materials and welding undertaken as standard.
All of our carbon steel structural projects from heavy duty primary steelwork through to secondary and tertiary steel can be supplied hot-dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 14713:2009 or shot-blast, primed and painted.
Piping
Our piping and pressure systems projects are commonly supplied in grades of pipework from Carbon Steel A106 through to Stainless Steel 316L. Our team of experienced welders and fitters backed by our in-house design team offer a valuable and cost saving alternative to the traditional project chain.
Inspection
Inspection points before, during and after welding by CSWIP welding inspectors assures consistency throughout, and additional NDT inspection will be arranged as per project specification.
Whether you are looking for supports to tie into existing plant or greenfield project areas, we have the experience and equipment ready to get the job done quickly and efficiently.
We can install into existing structures by welding or drilling & bolting, we can also fix to existing concrete, using mechanical and/or resin anchor bolting methods.
We can also support principle contractors or on-site term contractors by installation of pipe supports and/or secondary steel ahead of pipework erection subsequently minimising requirements of temporary supports and aiding safe and secure pipework installation, and potentially reducing crane and lifting equipment hire time.
BIM Collaboration and Seamless integration
This proves to be an invaluable tool to clients who wish to be included in the review and development of plant layout, including disciplines of structural, piping, mechanical, HVAC and support systems.
We use fully automated structural design software, packed with many unique features for optimized steel design.
Our piping design software, integrates with our structural detailing package and further allows us to produce automated drawings, such as piping isometrics including weld mapping, material take-off's and cut lists.
From the quick comparison of alternative design schemes through to cost-effective change management and seamless BIM collaboration, we can help to transform your project from concept through to successful delivery.
We are able to produce single part assembly drawings with automated material parts list so that you can get accurate quotes and less material, saving both time and costs.
